The 5th Sacred Thing, Character Designs

Here are a few of the pics from the batch of Character Designs I did a couple years back for the ongoing production of The Fifth Sacred Thing, a post apocalyptic adventure scifi movie based on the best selling book by Starhawk. They've been great to work with so far, and I look forward to seeing how the film progresses! Most of these are initial passes on the characters, not final designs. Any similarities to actual living movie stars is hopeful casting wishes on the production's part! ;)

The Fifth Sacred Thing Film: 1st Kickstarter Campaign!!!

At long last, and after a lot of hard work by a great group of people, we are pleased to announce the release of our 1st Kickstarter fundraising campaign! Starhawk explains her vision for the film version of her 1993 Utopian/Distopian SciFi future epic "The Fifth Sacred Thing." The pitch also features the TFST production's plans to implement a new, exemplary Eco standard for the film making industry, and a sneak peek of the production art we've created so far, showing the author's vibrant and positive vision of our Future That Could Be.

My contribution so far has been in the Character Design aspect of preproduction, creating rough first drafts of what the author and writers invision the characters to be, as a model for future development and the Costume, Storyboarding and Casting departments to work from. I've learned a lot so far and my Art Director Paradox Pollack has been a pleasure to work with. I look forward to the rest of the process!
